W?rtsil? ELAC SBE 1

The Sonar Beacon Equipment Wärtsilä ELAC SBE 1 is an acoustical beacon system for submarines transmitting acoustical signals in case of emergency.

Rescue ships or other vessels equipped with either passive sonar, underwater telephone or other hydrophones are able to perceive these emergency signals and locate the distressed submarine.

Wärtsilä ELAC SBE 1 is available as single- or dual-frequency system, which can be equipped with a wide variety of transducers.
